Booking Through Thursday

What’s the most enjoyable, most fun, most just-darn-entertaining book you’ve read recently?

(Mind you, this doesn’t necessarily mean funny, since we covered that already. Just … GOOD.)

My choice is A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson.

It was funny but it was also thought provoking and made me not want to stop reading. Which to me is an Entertaining book!

I like Bill Bryson, too, but it's been a while since I've read him.

Oops, I commented on your other link. See, I jumped the gun too! I haven't read this one but have heard so much praise. Nice pick!

This is a great book. Have you read his other stuff? I think he is a consistently good, funny writer.

Thanks for the comments.

I haven't read anything else by Bryson but they have all found their way into my TBR pile :) I'm looking forward to some more laughs.

This book was smart, funny, informative...my favorite of all his. I still laugh aloud when I think of certain parts, esp. with Katz.
