Teaser Tuesday: Naked in Death

Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

naked-in-death“Code Five meant she would report directly to her commander, and there would be no unsealed interdepartmental reports and no cooperation with the press.

In essence, it meant she was on her own” (pg3)

Hi!
I just read a J. D. Robb book. I really liked it. Is this one set in the future as a cop/murder story? Have a safe and happy holiday.

Yup! This is the first of the In Death books featuring Eve, Roarke and New York in 2058. I've read the whole series before and I love it!

I adore this series!!!!! You've read all gazillion of them? I'm on book 6 or 7.

I have indeed read all gazillion of them. Most of them at least twice, the older once maybe three times. :) I usually make my way through them every other year.

I have never read anything by this author -- it looks suspenseful.
