TSS: Europe Blogger-Con and Monthly Wrap-Up (April and May)

The Sunday Salon.com

Europe Blogger Con

A few days ago a bunch of bloggers started talking about all meeting up for a Con like the incredibly successful BBC recently held in New York. I would love love love to take part and meet other bloggers. I do however have to admit that I do not have the time to organize the whole shebang. I’ve organized big internet meet-ups in the past and I know how much time and effort you need to put into it and I just can’t commit to it right now. If however you do have the time and/or knowledge of how to pull it off, or if you are just interested in going, please head over to Stu’s or Iris’s and leave your thoughts. There is also a Google Group. Right now it looks like London will be the most likely place but feel free to come with your own suggestions!

I’m going to be honest, April and May were not good reading months, they were not good blogging months either. I blame it all on thesis nightmares and starting a new job. I will be busy over the summer working, but I should perversely also have a lot of time to read so hopefully I will be better at updating and reading.

Mystics, Mavericks, and Merrymakers by Stephanie Levine

The Forbidden Daughter by Shobhan Bantwal

Normally when I do a monthly review I write a little blurb about each book but in all honesty it was so long ago since I read some of these books I can’t remember *hangs head in shame*. I will say that my favourite book was  Mystics, Mavericks, and Merrymakers.  It was very thought provoking and interesting. I also really enjoyed loosing myself in the world of Anne and Gilbert again. It was such a pleasure.

Thanks for spreading the word on the EU BBC.

And I know how it sometimes seems quite impossible to combine work/study and blogging, but I think you still did a great job!

The EU BBC does sound like a wonderful idea! I hope someone will be able to organize it.

Hooray for an EU BBC! I support y'all completely - if I had spare money & time I'd hit that up my own self. Esp. if it's in London, lovely gorgeous London...
